The project will assess needs in the Bangladeshi jobs market, and identify and connect Bangladeshi and Bangladeshi American diaspora who can address these needs.
- Research Cell: BBF will conduct a needs assessment of various Bangladeshi industries to determine how diaspora and social businesses can influence and improve these sectors. The research cell will also tap BBF’s existing diaspora network to identify Bangladeshi American Diaspora who work in these sectors and can help address these challenges.
- Diaspora-Entrepreneur Online Platform: BBF will create a website that connects Bangladeshi entrepreneurs and Bangladeshi-American diaspora by job functions and business interests. The platform will feature participants from the below projects.
- Real-Time Diaspora Mentoring: BBF will host 15 nationwide DVC diaspora mentoring sessions. Bangladeshi American business men and women will field questions from local entrepreneurs. Diaspora and local participants will later be connected via the Online Platform.
